Affise needed educational content for their partner agencies to explain the basis of partner marketing. Such content should help them start working with a platform faster and avoid different issues from the beginning.
Solution: we have agreed to create a certification course for their partners.
It consists of 5 units and 22 lessons. At the end of the course, the participants should take a test to get certified by Affise.
The number of Affise academy users increased by 26% within 3 months after the course launch;
Time of creation and implementation of a course decreased by 1,5 times compared with the initial plan;
How we worked
Once all the documents were signed, we formulated a comprehensive project plan that shows the scope of tasks, assigned responsibilities to team members, and established deadlines.
This project plan serves as a valuable tool for the client as it provides a clear overview of the workflow, delineates individual responsibilities, and offers estimated timelines for project completion.
Market and audience analysis
The next step is to conduct market research and audience analysis to understand the needs of the potential participants and what content they need.
This stage can consist of different types of work and it can vary depending on the company's resources. For instance, if a company’s clients are ready to participate in an interview, we are ready to have a Zoom meeting to get all the information. It is a great way to understand the real needs of the client.
But in most cases, it is not so easy, so we send an email with a survey about the certification to the potential participants. This way they do not need to spend much time answering the questions but still can share their opinion and thoughts.
Finally, we also conducted interviews with the Affise employees as they know best what content their partners need and how we can help them.
Having completed the research and interviews, we accumulated all the information to use while creating the certification program. We analyzed everything and decided to create 5 units.
The first units cover the basics of partner marketing and how it works. The second part is about how to work with the platform and not make any mistakes, etc.
Additionally, we have determined the number of lessons for each unit and outlined their content.
For example, lessons with lots of equations and numbers are better interpreted as articles. On the other hand, different examples and lots of descriptions require a video lesson.
After creating and approving the certification program we started working on the landing page. We created the structure with all the elements of the landing page and sent it to the Affise design team. They created the design based on it.
While the landing page was being created, we were working on the certification content such as the scripts of the lectures and articles. Collaborating with the Affise team, we were responsible for generating all the necessary content. We prepared text materials for both videos and articles and submitted them to the client for approval.
Once the texts were approved, we proceeded to create engaging video presentations. Ensuring captivating content presentation is crucial for maintaining viewers' attention throughout the videos.
Recording and editing videos
When the texts and presentations were ready, we moved on to the next step — video recordings. This case was unusual as the speaker was in another country and we could not be present during the recordings. However, we provided all the technical requirements to be sure that we will be able to edit the videos.
After that, we edited the videos, added presentations and animation to make the video dynamic and interesting. All the edited videos were sent for approval as well.

Uploading on the platform
The last step was to upload the ready content on the platform. Affise was already working with one LMS, so we uploaded the content on it — there was no need to find anything else. We added the videos and descriptions to them, as well as created articles and made them look nice and easy to perceive.
In addition to uploading the content, we createdtests and quizzesto enable participants to deppen their understanding and revisit lectures if they encountered any difficulties.
Finally, after approving the content and design of the course, we published it. Yay!
Now Affise clients can take this course and enjoy new knowledge.
